Adventures In Art

Description

Despite having an artistic background, New Zealander Fran Gould did not begin her own artistic life until she entered retirement. With a focus on figurative painting, Fran works mainly in oil and graphite, choosing subjects that are alive with movement and spirit; taking the artist, and the observer, on a journey that delves into the human condition.Marking twenty years of work, this collection includes an impressive selection of paintings, drawings and sketches, alongside insights into what inspires Fran to take up the brush or pencil.
