Henrik Eiben

Description

Around eighty works show how Tokyo-born Henrik Eiben moves between drawing, painting and assemblage in his practice. With seeming effortlessness, he juggles colours, forms and materials letting them collide, generating explosions, implosions or finely calibrated equilibria. He seeks out challenges through the deliberate choice of new forms or materials. By bringing a human element into the art, he achieves a beauty inherent in the everyday and in the imperfect.
