When seven-year-old Tamsin was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, her parents were devastated. Trusting God, Mands and Steve saw His gracious hand at work, and when their daughter finally went to be with Him, their story inspired many.

But losing Tamsin was just the beginning. Grief triggered repressed emotions and then abusive memories from when Mands herself was a girl, leaving her own good childhood in tatters. Overwhelmed and unable to cope, she spiralled into severe depression, self-harm and wanting to take her own life.

Yet her heavenly Father never left her, and through Steves unstinting support and the ministry of others, she gradually came to terms with the past. With her love of dance and worship reignited, Mands found healing for Tamsins loss and the trauma she had experienced as a child, making Two Hearts Dancing an extraordinary witness to the enduring, intimate love of God.
